The Huts

There are two traditional styled shepherd huts. Both are positioned in such a way to provide privacy from one another. Located on our small holding in a private nature reserve area, alongside a pond that is bustling with wildlife. The perfect setting for a romantic getaway.

The huts are accessed by foot only (secure parking on private land is provided) down a winding woodland track with solar lights lighting the way.

Inside each hut is a comfy double bed, a two seater sofa, small dining table and chairs. Also a log burner for those chilly evenings. All bedding is provided. The huts are clean and fresh and incredibly warm. There are usb sockets for charging your device, but that is all the modern luxury you will find. The site is totally off-grid with the lights being powered by solar power.

Each hut has its own private kitchen hut, this has a basic camping stove and the pots and pans, crockery etc you will require. We provide a cool box for your perishable items and ice packs to keep everything cool, we replenish these daily.

There is a private bbq/fire pit area and all wood and charcoal is provided.

The wood fired hot tubs are also for private use. They are two man hot tubs and we heat these for your use.  The hot tubs are an extra charge to your accommodation at £25 per evening, please book these in advance.

The shared facilities are the toilet (compost loo) and shower. There is also a communal dishwashing area.

We try to maintain low environmental impact and provide products in keeping with this. These include hand soap, shower gel, shampoo and conditioner also washing-up liquid, all lovely products that we are sure you will enjoy using. We also re-cycle everything possible and bins are provided for this.
